The Market Bosworth Baby and Toddler Group (Mother and Toddler group as was)
meets every week in St Peters Church Hall, in Park Street, Market Bosworth
(if you need to ask where Market Bosworth is, you're probably too far away to go to
the group!). Young children of all ages
, from birth to pre-school, are welcome.
The group meets every Wednesday afternoon, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
There are a lot of childrens toys
, ranging from baby toys (in their own
cordoned off area), through ride-ons to a slide and trampoline. We have
a very popular indoor sand-pit. There are always books
and jigsaws, play
dough and an art activity (painting, sticking and so on).
The cost is only 80p per child (2nd and subsequent children 10p discount!), with babies under 6 months free. There is also an annual £2 registration fee per child.
The hall is warm and airy, with plenty of room for young ones to let
off steam, and plenty to keep them quiet. In the Summer we use an outdoor
grassy area, with a larger sand-pit
, a Wendy House and a slide. We always
have free tea, coffee, squash and biscuits.
The group is non-profit-making and is run by the parents
. Costs are covered
by fees and by annual fund-raising activities (including last years successful
Winter Fayre). You are welcome just to come along to see us, but
if you want to take a more active role, we are happy to accept offers of
help.

| May 19 | Outing to a Hatton Farm. This event is popular, so book early to avoid disappointment. Bring a packed lunch. |
| June 9 | Teddy Bears Picnic - a great afternoon at the play area in Bosworth Park. Don't forget your Teddy! |
| June 20 | A Sunday afternoon barbeque at a committee member's house. All parents and children welcome. |
| October 13 | A Professional Photographer will be at Toddlers. Prints should be back in time to make that special Christmas present. |
| October 30 | Fund-raising event in St Peter's Hall. |
| December 15 | Toddlers Christmas Party - a lovely Event. Eat lots of food, join in the fun and meet Father Christmas - he'll have a present for every child. |
